I urge you to oppose the natural gas ban in London. This ban threatens our freedom to choose how we heat our homes while burdening us with higher electricity costs and winter risks. With Ontario’s already high electricity rates, the added expense of shifting from natural gas—plus infrastructure upgrades—would hike utility bills further, hitting hardest those already struggling. Housing affordability will worsen as landlords pass costs to tenants and homeowners face expensive retrofits. Let’s prioritize our community’s needs over unnecessary bans.
